Carra Patterson and her husband, Ruffin Prentiss III, are set to appear together on-screen in the second season of Elsbeth. This highly anticipated season of the American police procedural comedy-drama debuts on CBS on February 29, 2024.
It’s about time this lovely couple collaborated on a project again. Previously, they worked together in the series The Arrangement. However, unlike the last time, Ruffin will only feature in the first episode of Elsbeth season 2.
Despite this, he found the experience of working alongside his wife so enjoyable that he eagerly shared the feeling with his followers on Instagram.
Moreover, while actively promoting the show on his social media, Ruffin recounted his experiences working with Carra during the new season of Elsbeth. Talking about the roles, he will portray Detective Darren Jax, while Carra reprises her role as Officer Kaya Blanke.
While recounting his experience working with Carra, Ruffin shared behind-the-scenes videos and expressed his thoughts saying,

This isn’t the first time Ruffin Prentiss III has portrayed a character on-screen, as he is a professional actor in his own right. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Prentiss pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts from the University of Pittsburgh and later earned a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Rutgers University.
After completing his education, he relocated to New York City to advance his acting career. Over the years, he has been involved in a variety of projects across television, theater, and video games. Carra’s partner has appeared in TV shows such as The Arrangement, The Good Fight, SEAL Team, Insecure, Nobody’s Home, Blacklist, and many others.
As a voice actor, he has contributed to several audiobooks and video games. Notably, he voices Marcus Holloway in Watch Dogs: Legion. Additionally, the New York-based actor has worked on-screen and collaborated as a writer for the series Quarantine, I Love You.
Ruffin has also participated in several short films to date, with his latest project being Memo Inc. In an Instagram post about this film, he shared:

Ruffin and Coretta’s older daughter, Cressida, was born on December 25, 2020. The couple was thrilled to welcome their first child together; the Nobody’s Home actor even shared details about her birth, noting that she arrived at 2:53 PM and weighed 7 lbs 5 oz.
With that said, Ruffin consistently expresses his love for Coretta on Instagram, especially on their wedding anniversary. The couple recently celebrated their five-year milestone together. They tied the knot on May 18, 2019.
